Internationally recognized Chef Susur Lee is looking for a Sous Chef for Lee restaurant located at 601 King St. West in the heart of the city. We are looking for an organized Sous Chef with professional training, deals well in a stressful environment and has some knowledge of Asian flavors. Must be available full-time. Also, must be legal to work in Canada. Sorry, no sponsorships. Please provide references with your CV.
Requirements include:
-Executive Sous Chef experience in high-end / high volume restaurant environment -Very high standard of quality and always looking to improve technique -Understanding of food and labor costs with success meeting goals -Outstanding communication and team building skills
Responsibilities include:
-Challenging yourself and team to achieve greater levels of culinary success -Collaborating with Chef and General Manager to achieve goals -Executing kitchen operations, prep production, and service -Developing vendor relationships -Supporting, creating, and maintaining house policies and procedures -Overseeing training, and development of kitchen staff
